German traveller to Persia, 1635-39, who wrote damaging account of a sultan whose passion for coffee caused him to forget sex, much to his wife's despair.


Immature, undeveloped bean from fruit picked too green. It will never darken in roasting, but is not too harmful to cup quality except in large numbers; suggests poor grading.
