| Argentina grows a little coffee, as it has more or less done since 1729, but not much. It has the soil and climate to grow more. The coffee grown there at present is the Arabica species, mostly of the Bourbon variety like the Santos beans of Brazil; not surprisingly, the flavor is of a Santos quality. | |
