Coffee from French Polynesia |
French Polynesia |
|
| The 100 or so islands which compose this French Overseas Territory and consuming member of the International Coffee Organization have extremely good soil and climate for growing the Arabica coffee brought from Reunion early this century. The coffee is wet-processed on each island, and although most of it is consumed locally, the commercial name is Tahiti Arabica. The beans have been described as large and flat, and the cup quality pleasant, mild and well-balanced with little or no acidity. | |
