| Sudan has all the right conditions for growing excellent coffee, and indeed, a few thousand bags are produced, but some of it comes from wild trees, probably planted originally by bird or animal droppings. Sudan also imports coffee. In the past decades there have been plans to encourage the development of the coffee industry, but civil war and drought have made wide-scale progress almost non-existent. | |
