Coffee from Trinidad & Tobago

Coffee from Trinidad & Tobago

Trinidad & Tobago
These two islands just north of Venezuela, members of the International Coffee Organization, grow a small  crop of mostly Robusta intended for instant coffee. The coffee industries here have a problem that most other coffee-producing countries will never have: the islands are petroleum-rich and have such a well-paid labour force that coffee-growing is simply not profitable.
