Mexican Coffee Recipe

Ingredient:

300 g/ 10 fl oz
3 tbsp
1
 
water
coarsely ground coffee
small (about 3.3cm) cinnamon stick
Demerara sugar to taste
Methods:
  1. Place water in a heavy saucepan and bring to the boil.
  2. Add coffee and stir well. Add cinnamon stick.
  3. Return to the boil; then remove from heat until bubbling stops.
  4. Return to heat; return to the boil.
  5. Remove from heat, strain into mug and sweeten with sugar.

Makes 1 serving .
